The one game that was picked up by the 3rd Team against Apollo did prove to be important as they lost the league by the one game to Halewood. As mentioned on the 25 of April
31/03/2003
The 1st Team Finish runners up behind Occasionals, Well done, a good effort. The 2nd Team have their last game tonight and will finish with the wooden spoon. The 3rd have two left to play and If won will finish 6th in division 2.
The results of last months poll where inconclusive, 52% said Yes, grouping players for the first 1.5 hours of a club night is a good idea, while 48% voted No. This months poll is "Which team has had the best season?"
Some new pages have been added and will be maintained primary by Rob. They are the Inter-League pages, the junior pages and a Coaching page(Which is different from the Club Coaching page). And there is now two message boards one for everyone and one for site members only
25/03/2003
The 3rd Team where beaten 7 -1 by division leaders Apollo 1 last night. Althought they where well beaten in the end, credit is due for giving Apollo a very tough game. That one game taken from Apollo may well cost them the league, as they and Halewood look like they will finnish on equal points and its going to go down to games won.
18/03/2003
Good result for the 3rd Team last night who beat girobank 6 - 2, well done team.
15/03/2003
Our 1st team achieved a 4-4 draw on Monday against Occasionals. Winning the league this year is now doubtful unless they loose one of their last few matches. This is unlikely, but we live in hope. At least we can say that we were not beaten by the league winners. The team has played very well throughout the year and only lost a few games due to vacations and injuries. Well done the first team. We hope our England star player recovers soon from his injury.

04/03/2003:
Mixed fortunes last night as the 1st team beat Electric Hilltop 2 8 - 0 and the 3rd team lost to Halewood 1 by the same score. This keeps the 1st team still with a chance to win the league
There was also a commitee meeting last night. The main topic was money owned, so if you owe money and you know who you are try and get it paid asap.
26/02/2003:
Major slip up by the 1st team. With five players missing and only three women on the night, they where beaten 5 - 3 by South Liverpool 1. This loss may prove costly and will probably mean Occasionals will now take the title.
19/02/2003:
2nd team were beaten 8 - 0 by Occasionals who are now hot on the heels of the first team, who have a tricky game coming up becuase three of the four ladies will be missing.
17/02/2003:
The 3rd team lost out: 6 - 2 in a very close match against South Liverpool 2, with most games going to three and being setted. Th 2nd team take on Occasionals tonight at home, but will find it very difficult to find a first victory against a good Occasionals team.
14/02/2003:
The 1st teams big game against Occasionals ended up a 4 - 4 draw, so each will take a point and neither will gain an advantage over the other. The 1st team then followed with a 7 - 1 hammering of Delco Electronics 1 to keep themselves at the top of the division.
11/02/2003:
Last weeks games where cancelled, the 3rd team game against Delco Electronics 2 has been rearranged for the 7th of April. The 3rd team also suffered from a lack of match practice when they where defeated by CF1, 7 - 1 last night.
28/01/2003:
The 1st team had an excellent 7 - 1 win away at Electric Hilltop 1. The 1st team are now way out in front at the top of the first division, with Occasionals looking like the only side that could catch them. The two will clash this Friday at Bootle Stadium.
The 2nd team where beaten 8 - 0 by South Liverpool in their weekend game at greenbank, while the 3rd teams game which was supposed to be last night was called off because CF2 could not field a side, will have to wait and see if the points can be claimed.
21/01/2003:
No surprise to see the 1st team beat the 2nd team 8 - 0 in their rearranged league match last night. This leaves the teams at either end of division 1.
I have added a link to friendsreunited on the links page. Their are currently five players registered for are club.

The 1st Team notch up there second victory with a 7 - 1 win over South Liverpool 1. The 3rd get of to a good start with a 5 - 3 win over Girobank. But have to postpone the home game against Fernhill because of players on holiday.
03/10/2002:
The playing season if off and running and as expected the 1st team beat the second team 8-0 sending them straight to the top of the table. The 1st team will be looking to stay there all season, but can expect a stronger challenge from Occasionals this year. The 2nd team will be looking to stay in the top division this year, but wont be helped by the fact they have to play the first team again.
The 3rd Team kick off there season away to Girobank this coming Monday and will be hoping for a good start if Promotion in to the top division is to be a realistic aim for the season.
